Sawyer's registering "disagreement" with some of the tenets of the new budget, it wasn't enough to stop him from voting for a lopsided budget aimed at shafting the citizens. To be part of a unanimous capitulation by the entire council, it's once again "business as usual" and is reminiscent of the Daley regime budgets that floated through with a breeze. I am disgusted with the level and breadth of the cuts, new fees, and further indignities of a residency that's nothing but a cash cow thinly disguised as a constituency of the 6th Ward. Ald.
