6th Ward Chicago Picture of the Week
Alderman Roderick T. Sawyer joined colleagues and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle at the SOUL (Southsiders Organized for Unity and Liberation) Martin Luther King Celebration. Alderman Sawyer was expressing his support for grassroots based solutions to the housing crisis that can return vacant homes to the tax rolls and help stabilize neighborhoods with good families.
